In the near future I'll probably start commissions like these of other people's original characters. So, if you think you'll be interested, please keep a watch on my journal for more info : )

Recently I thought I should try my hand at mixing what I usually do (fabrics/papers/etc cutouts) with the way I draw characters using pencils/pens.

It's a pretty old character of mine called Chinori (of which you can see some pictures of in the dregs of my gallery...and by some, I mean three)

Impressive that you managed to get that neutral-ish (I still think she is a sad character) look on her face in that style.

Oh, fanciest of original characters, do you have long enough sleeves?

I really like the stitching used for definition in this work, Nawa, both in the hair and on the outfit.

The hair is actually just pen on mylar : D

And yup... I always wondered how she can go about her day with such long sleeves. It must take time to get used to

Really cute. Like the style. Must have taken a while to cut out. The colors are also very neat and fit together very good. Love the expression on her face =)

Yeah, this one took a lot longer to cut out than I expected! Nearing the finish, my perfectionist attitude decided to kick in, and I ended up redoing sections of it. ahah
