So I drew this [link] lineart doodad in my sketchbook a week or so ago, and thought that I would go and make it into a full drawing...
For some reason the girl took me a very long time to do, and it still looks wrong. It started with being fully coloured, to not really coloured, to completely white. I was even tempted to take out the skirt and the socks and just have a floating head and hands...
And I was originally going to have the girl in the centre, but then it looked sort of better on the right... but looking at it now, Im not too sure... The placement of the jellyfish in the background is awkward as well. the 4 on top make a square (which might have been ignored if the girl was in the middle)

aaaanyways. self critiquing over.

Oh No!!! She 's gonna get stung and then someone will have to pee on her.. T_T
Its a neat idea though. Thing that looks off to me is the pose she is in. It looks like she may be seating on a chair or at the edge of pier dangling her feet above the water. And that one bottom Jellyfish's tentacles going thru her.

BTW her playing her DS in the middle of a lake/ocean/any body of water is just asking for trouble. You know her DS is gonna get wet and destroyed.

but actually, I was thinking more like the girl's into the game so much that it's like she's submerged... submerged in jellyfish infested waters. So she actually is sitting down somewhere, wherever she is.

she looks too calm to be so focused on her game. she must be playing big brain academy or something, not pokemon. :D love the jellyfish

I thought that maybe she just have been somewhere in a shallow area but the Jellyfish confused me. For a second there I thought that they only lived in deep waters but yeah... I remember they have made their way towards beaches and not so deep waters.

On a side note.... why would you go into the water with your socks and skirt + shoes on.... XDDD

For some reason, the feature that most caught my eye were the tiny bubble splotches *shrugs*
